Look, my writing is boring

Never been much of a writer....cant make a good story, usually rambling of disjointed sentances

We are going to yosemite next week....so busy thinking about that.(what do we need? do we all own enough pants...answer was no, if you are interested)
Rebekah did some classes at the science center....they were pretty good.
Rebekah and nathan are doing a culture/geography type class at the kidseum....traveling thru countries via music this time. That is on tuesdays or wednesdays...tuesdays work best...but that makes her a bit late to first Girl scout meeting of the year...sigh
they did say we could just come on wednesday but, then I offered to bring in a belly dancing hip scarf....so now I am committed to tuesday (watch me forget the skirt)

I got my hair cut and re-dyed today...and we are now officially a tv addicted family in my eyes......DVR was installed today....sigh I hide my head in shame lol

Looks like the Angels will make the ALDS they only need to win tonights game...
I didnt get selected in the lottery to purchase tickets ::::sob::::

What else have we done since the first few days of September???? Laundry ha ha...that is never ending....oops dryer just shut off.....bought 2 out of 3 kids new shoes...child #3 doesnt need shoes....she is well on her way to making Imelda Marcos jealous.

Oh dance started.....same week as the discovery classes and the same week Kidseum classes started...wow was that a week. Rebekah has jazz from 430-530 mondays followed by 530-630 ballet...then christine at the same studio has belly dancing from 830-930, then rebekah has ballet again on wednesdays...515-615....different time which makes it more difficult to remember.

Finally got our music/music history curriculum...now to actually use them.

Oh and anyone doing the million minutes family challenge? ? We joined with a group....our park day group and have not managed alot of minutes....but those we have have been with the game "Blink"

Oh and I have 2 jalapeno plants.....one flowered and I have 3 small Jalapenos on it and then it WILTED! I have no clue why. I keep trying to bring it back but it has been rather unsuccessful . Maybe the rain we are supposed to have might help it. Although I have yet to actually see the rain and every time I check the hour by hour forcast.....it is due rain later and later.....I wont be holding my breath.

Ok done rambling for now. Need to give 2 dirty children a bath before going off to grandmas for Yom kippur meal. Give yourself a medal if you read all of it. lol

musical Mondays

Yep I am behind in those too

and yes I know today is not monday

and then I realized that I have already done this song but, I dont care....and if you care
Dont read it lol

not too bad of a live filmed version
(better then the one I posted last time, I think)

The kids screaming, phone ringing
Dog barking at the mailman bringing
That stack of bills - overdue
Good morning baby, how are you?
Got a half hour, quick shower
Take a drink of milk but the milk's gone sour
My funny face makes you laugh
Twist the top on and I put it back
There goes the washing machine
Baby, don't kick it.
I promise I'll fix it
Long about a million other things

Well, it's ok. It's so nice
It's just another day in paradise
Well, there's no place that
I'd rather be
Well, it's two hearts
And one dream
I wouldn't trade it for anything
And I ask the lord every night
For just another day in paradise

Friday, you're late
Guess we'll never make our dinner date
At the restaurant you start to cry
Baby, we'll just improvise
Well, plan B looks like
Dominoes' pizza in the candle light
Then we'll tippy toe to our room
Make a little love that's overdue
But somebody had a bad dream
Mama and daddy
Can meand my teddy
Come in to sleep in between?

Yeah it's ok. It's so nice.
It's just another day in paradise.
Well, there's no place that
I'd rather be
Well, it's two hearts
And one dream
I wouldn't trade it for anything
And I ask the lord every night
For just another day in paradise

Well, it's ok. It's so nice.
It's just another day in paradise.
Well, there's no place that
I'd rather be
Two hearts
And one dream
I wouldn't trade it for anything
And I ask the lord every night
For just another day in paradise

For just another day in paradise
Well, it's the kids screaming. The phone ringing
Just another day
Well, it's Friday. You're late
Oh yeah, it's just another day in paradise

Rebekah is home

From Camp....
Camp del Corazon.

She had a blast as usual. Her counselors told us she was really afraid of the dark, which puzzled us but they said it was REALLY dark with outdoor noises so, maybe that freaked her out. AND that another girl in the cabin wanted complete darkness to sleep.

And now she is antsy at home, making a PITA of herself which is her usual MO after being gone.

I overhead one of the counselors telling about a special guest on the island. So, on the way home I asked rebekah about it. She said oh yah I remember him, we ate with him and he stayed all week. The guest? Tom Arnold. In recent years he has been a big supporter of the camp, even hosting the gala as I recall.

She wore her dress for fancy dinner night, as often as they would let her she says. Good thing it came from goodwill. And has learned this fantasically annoying song on disco night. Hmm I should look for it on Youtube.

She also said she climbing the climbing wall this time. Last time she was too scared....perhaps because last time she refused to wear her glasses. I told the counselors before I left that they are pretty manditory for her to see.

She was happy that she wasnt the only oddball this time. By oddball, I mean the only one in her cabin skipped during med times....

Last time she filled her disposable camera so, I gave her 2 this time. She didnt fill either of them....

Where did I get those?

To answer the question asked in a comment.

I bought the specimens (aka the frogs)
from
http://www.biologyproducts.com/

Bio Corporation.

I have a few other science catalogs that carry this kind of stuff but, they seemed to offer the best packages and how to guides, as well as the best cost on the disposal aprons and gloves, which Ivan also uses for work (the gloves that is).

They said it takes approximately 2 weeks to ship.....It will be a week tomorrow since I placed the order so, we dont actually have them yet. Soon tho'

Book list update

Yah I know it has been awhile....because I was having issues finishing a book. I like the author, I like the book, I like the subject (true crime) but this time it was so messed up, so many victims, so many suspects, so many details, it took me forever. Not to mention a bit of a large book(in terms of pages) so not so easy to tote around everywhere, like I would normally do.
Not sure what I am going to read next.....I feel like I need to pick something that is a quick read because I have fallen so far behind in completing this list
