Book list updated

I finished "Night" by Elie Wiesel. I enjoyed the book....good non fiction read about WW2, specifically the Nazis and life in a concentration camp. I, however, wish he has written a bit more....I would have loved to know what he did after liberation.....did he go dig up what his father buried?
Anyhow, I hope to update the list again in a few days, I am in the middle of another book on my list.
I have recently run across lists of what are considered classics for adults and young adults. I am surprised at how few I have actually read. I always read ALOT as a kid....and it was hard to ever find me without a book. I think I will be adding some of what I missed to this list.....the list really made be feel inadequate lol.....
Christine and some friends have joined a local Homeschool book club with the focus being classics. I think I will "read along" with them. This month's book is "The Phantom Tollbooth" while, not an adult classic, it is definitely considered a youth classic and I have never read it.
